Dr Elizabeth Layton is Head of Classical Performance, Head of Strings and Senior Lecturer, Violin at the Elder Conservatorium, University of Adelaide. Notably, Elizabeth directs the Elder Conservatorium Chamber Ensemble in concerts around Australia.
Elizabeth was on the staff in London at the Guildhall School Junior Department, and the Royal Scottish Conservatoire, Glasgow.
Elizabeth has been tutor at Australian Youth Orchestra courses, and given masterclasses at the University of Queensland, Australian Festival of Chamber Music Winter School, Adelaide Chamber Music Festival, Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, and the Ensemble Q mentoring program at Griffith University, Queensland.
